Describing them as colleagues just doesn’t do it justice. It’s clear from the moment you step into either house that the energy and the vibe is just so positive and it’s a very caring environment.

With Florinee I get to try my hardest in making a difference to the lives of vulnerable children from all sorts of backgrounds. I have met the most amazing children whom I have learnt from. I have worked at Florinee for just over four years, and I am very proud to be part of such an amazing, caring, nurturing company who go above and beyond. In February I left my long-term education career to become a Senior Residential Support Worker, and it was one of the best decisions I made. The young people we work with can and do have their challenges, and that's why we do what we do as a team, not one person but stronger and better together. To try to make a difference and show them that we are here to be their net, to catch them. When things don't go right , and they don't always, to show them it's ok and with the support of an amazing team of support workers, how we are there to help guide them and do the work we do to get them ready for their next step in life. Our ethos is to THRIVE, and together we do that. I consider myself part of the furniture in the home I work in and being one of the Seniors one of the young people there often calls me a Senior Citizen. Hopefully, I will be working there until I am haha
